Kate & Chris' Elegant Mas Huix Wedding near Barcelona


Some weddings feel effortless from the very beginning, and Kate and Chris' wedding at Mas Huix was exactly that!


Long before their wedding day, we had a couple of video calls together to get to know each other better, talk through their plans, and discuss what was most important to them when it came to photography. One thing became clear immediately: they wanted their wedding photos to feel romantic, elegant, and genuine. They loved beautiful imagery, but they weren't interested in spending hours posing or recreating moments for the camera. Instead, they wanted to be fully present with their family and friends, enjoying every part of the celebration while trusting me to document it naturally. That's exactly the kind of wedding photography I love.

Romantic Portraits Without the Pressure


One of the things Kate and Chris were most concerned about before the wedding was the portrait session. Like many couples, they told me during our calls that they felt a little uncomfortable in front of the camera and didn't want their wedding day to turn into a photoshoot. The good news is that it never has to.


Instead of directing every movement, I simply guided them into beautiful light and allowed them to interact naturally. We took a short walk around the grounds of Mas Huix, giving them a chance to enjoy a few quiet moments together away from the celebrations. The result was exactly what they had hoped for: romantic and elegant photographs that felt natural and effortless. No stiff poses. No awkward instructions. Just genuine moments between two people deeply in love.
