Emotional Summer Wedding at Masia Victoria, Barcelona

Last week, I photographed Abbie and Joe’s wedding at Masia Victoria. The day was filled with genuine emotions, laughter, and those unforgettable moments that remind me why I love what I do. While I’m still working on their full gallery, I wanted to share a quick preview from this wonderful celebration. If you’re considering a destination wedding near Barcelona, Masia Victoria is a place you might fall in love with. It’s just 30 minutes from the airport and offers a great balance of relaxed and elegant for your celebration.

Wedding Photography at Masia Victoria, Barcelona

June is one of my favorite months for weddings in Barcelona. The days are long, and the warm evenings are perfect for celebrating outside. Abbie and Joe’s wedding was a great example of how special this season can be.

Friends and family traveled from the UK to Spain to celebrate, making the day feel even warmer and more intimate. Before the ceremony, there were family jokes, happy tears, and heartfelt vows. By the end, everyone was smiling through tears. These are the moments I love to capture: not perfect poses, but real emotions that tell the story of the day.

Elegant Wedding Portraits Without Stress

Like many couples, Abbie and Joe wanted beautiful portraits but also wanted to spend time with their guests. When preparing to photograph a wedding in Barcelona, I always start by getting to know my couples, either with a chat before the wedding or a relaxed conversation on the day, so they feel comfortable with me and the camera. For their portraits, we took a short walk around Masia Victoria and made the most of those few minutes. I gave gentle guidance when needed, but mostly encouraged them to enjoy being together, talk, laugh, or just take a breath. This relaxed approach helps couples forget about the camera and focus on each other. Some of my favorite photos from the day happened between the planned moments, when Abbie and Joe were having fun together.
